Thus, this can turn out to be an ideal experience for one and many, especially for visitors who come from countries where the climate is rarely hot.

When looked at, Mauritius indeed offers a panoramic view. The exceptional beauty of the white sandy beaches along with the crystal clear sea rolling gently over the shores and the mountain ranges covered with a green carpet of forest make Mauritius an outstanding island. Not visiting Mauritius once in a lifetime could be something to regret. The hottest periods in Mauritius range from the months of December to February. But during these months, the risk of occurrence of a cyclone is normally high. Sometimes cyclones heavily affect the island by destroying sugar cane fields and other vegetations. Heavy rains and strong winds are the principal characteristics of a cyclone.

Moreover, Pereybere is a place in Mauritius that one has to visit during his stay. Pereybere is situated in the northern part of Mauritius . The Pereybere public beach is what catches most tourists' attentions. The sea is clear and deep and there are also numerous shopping facilities, pubs and restaurants nearby. There are normally around six diving centres from Grand Baie to Pereybere. Those who love diving will definitely have the opportunity to look at the colourful corals and fish as well as take some undersea pictures of the stunning aquatic life in Mauritius. Still in the north of the island, one could seize the occasion of going to the Maheshwarnath temple at Triolet. Triolet is the longest village in Mauritius . The temple was initially built to honour various Hindu idols such as Shiva and Vishnu among others.

Furthermore, another place of interest in the North of Mauritius is the Pamplemousses garden. The garden was built by ancient French Governor Mahe de Labourdonnais. The place contains a wide variety of indigenous plants and trees. Everyday hundreds of tourists go there to have a look and at the same time experience the precious history of Mauritius . More places of interest exist in the south of Mauritius . One of the most famous is the La Vanille Reserve des Mascareignes mostly known as Crocodile Park . The park is situated on the valley of an old vanilla farm, similar to that of a dense forest. The park was created by an Australian zoologist to breed crocodiles. As time passed by, the park developed in a reserve which now contains not just crocodiles but also tortoises and deers among others.

The island of Mauritius is full of things that are worth spending the time discovering. So, if you are on your way, do not forget your camera as these pictures could be the ones that you'll always cheer.
